How to Get more Affordable Maryland Lift Tickets

For many people, putting together the perfect winter vacation includes visiting one of Maryland’s ski resorts. As you plan where you will stay, where you will eat and where you will ski, Maryland lift tickets are a vital part of your early trip planning.

Early Bird Gets the Worm
Consider purchasing your ski lift tickets as early in the season as possible. Many resorts and ski hills will offer early bird specials. These may include discounted season passes, special events open only to advanced sales or first week of the season deals. These prices are often discounted anywhere from 10 to 30 percent off of regular prices. By saving the extra money on ski lift tickets in Maryland, you can apply the extra money somewhere else of your vacation like a luxurious massage at the local ski resort.

Store-Based Deals
We encourage people to do their due diligence and comparison-shop when it comes to Maryland lift tickets. You can check out local stores for discounts and package deals. Sports stores are one good option, but you can also look at the local grocery store or fast food restaurants. Local resorts and events like to join up with nearby businesses to offer deals that may include ski lift tickets and a meal or a percent off your next purchase in the store.

Personalized Maryland Lift Tickets

It’s one thing to get a discount rate by committing to a full week of skiing and/or staying at a particular lodge. But what about those people who are looking to get in a quick half-day on the slopes? Or what about those people who are so new to skiing that they’re not sure how much skiing they’ll actually do? What about die-hard ski fans who are looking for a discount rate that makes sense for a full season of skiing, either at one or multiple ski resorts around the state? Before making any final buying decisions, be sure to check right here with the Maryland Ski Authority. We may have a better price, or we may be able to offer greater flexibility in planning your ski dates.
